Halloween Devilled Eggs

Bring some eerie fun to your Halloween spread with these creepy-cute devilled eggs! Packed with protein and topped with googly eyes and jalapeño “smiles,” they’re the perfect mix of delicious and delightfully spooky. Pair them with a refreshing Beautiful Energy Peach Iced Tea for a festive treat that’s as tasty as it is terrifying.

Ingredients 

  • 4 eggs
  • 16 edible googly eyes
  • 8 pickled jalapeño slices
  • 4 serves Beautiful Energy Peach Iced Tea powder
  • Filling
  • 1/4 cup plain high protein greek yoghurt 
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • ¼ tsp paprika
  • Pinch of salt

Method

  1. Place the eggs in a saucepan and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil, then cook for 10 minutes. Lower the heat slightly if needed to prevent cracking.
  2. Transfer the eggs to a bowl of cold water to cool. Once cooled, peel the shells.
  3. Slice each egg in half and gently remove the yolks. Add yolks to a bowl with the yoghurt, mustard, paprika, and salt. Mash with a fork or the back of a spoon until smooth.
  4. Spoon the yolk mixture back into the egg whites. Decorate each with two googly eyes and a jalapeño slice as the mouth. Garnish with plastic spiders for a spooky touch.
  5. Stir 1 scoop of Beautiful Energy Peach Iced Tea powder into a glass of cold water until dissolved.
  6. Serve and enjoy your frightful feast!
