Oats 5 Ways: By Our Glow Talkers

Breakfast is often hailed as the most important meal of the day, setting the tone for your energy and focus. Many of our Glow Talkers love starting their mornings with our shakes, but there's a fun way to spice things up and add some whole food goodness: oats!

Not only do oats pair beautifully with our shakes, but they also help keep you full and satisfied throughout the day. To give you some tasty inspiration, we've gathered five delicious oat recipes from our vibrant Glow Talk community. These creative recipes combine the nourishing power of oats with the benefits of our collagen products, making your breakfast both indulgent and wholesome.

Quick Oats and Glow Shake by Tarryn Edwards

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup quick oats
  • 150ml water
  • 50ml unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 scoop of your favourite Glow Shake

Method:

  1. Mix the quick oats with 150ml of water in a microwave-safe bowl.
  2. Microwave on high for 90 seconds.
  3. Stir in 50ml of unsweetened almond milk.
  4. Add 1 scoop of your favourite Glow Shake and mix until well combined.

Carman’s Almond Pecan Porridge by Leanne Bitmead Fry

Ingredients:

  • 1 sachet Carman’s porridge (almond pecan flavour)
  • 1 scoop Chocolate Millshake Glow Shake
  • Water or almond milk (as per porridge instructions)
  • A few raspberries

Method:

  1. Prepare the Carman’s porridge according to package instructions, using water or almond milk.
  2. Stir in 1 scoop of Chocolate Milkshake Glow Shake until fully combined.
  3. Add your raspberries.
  4. Enjoy your nutty, chocolatey porridge!

Vanilla Glow Oats by Sharon Glasson

Ingredients:

Method:

  1. Combine 1 scoop of oats with 2 scoops of Vanilla Milkshake Glow Shake.
  2. Add 220ml of water and stir well.
  3. Cook according to your oat package instructions or until desired consistency is reached.

Vanilla Yogurt and Peanut Butter Oats by Sharon Glasson

Ingredients:

Method:

  1. Mix 1 scoop of oats with 1 scoop of Vanilla Milkshake Glow Shake.
  2. Stir in 1 small tub of vanilla yoghurt and 1 tablespoon of powdered peanut butter.
  3. Combine until smooth and enjoy a creamy, nutty breakfast!

Ingredients:

Method:

  1. Combine 1 scoop of oats with 2 scoops of Vanilla Milkshake Glow Shake.
  2. Add water or milk to reach desired consistency.
  3. Cook according to oat package instructions or until creamy.
  4. Add a sprinkle of cinnamon or a teaspoon of honey for extra sweetness.
